From August 20-22, 2010 the first International 29er Class Championship in Switzerland took place.
The Yacht Club Locarno (YCLo) could welcome 27 boats from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy
on the lake Maggiore, at Centro Dannemann in Brissago.
By beautiful weather and wind conditions, cool people were racing on 4 rather long set courses. Winner or the regatta was the fantastically strong sailing female team ITA 1738 with Tezza Lavinia on the helm together with Paola Bergamaschi (Club Garda Salo).
On the second place, thus Swiss Champion, the female crew SUI 975 with Sandra Giovanoli on the helm and Franzisca Wild from SC Stäfa. Gratulation.
