02 Rules

The regatta will be governed by:
2.1 The rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012,
2.2 The current class rules,
2.3 If there is a conflict between languages, the Italian text will take precedence.


03 Advertising

4.1 The event is open to all boat of the 29er class.
4.2 The participants will have to fulfil with the conditions oft he eligibility reflected in the regulation 19 of
      the ISAF.

5.2 The non-refundable entry fee of CHF 60.00 (EURO 45) PER BOAT can be paid in cash
      at the registration (to avoid charges of banks).
    
      In case you wish to pay earlier, please make the payment to:

5.3 A boat is considered to be pre-registered if the "completed and signed official registration form" has been
     forwarded until July 22, 2010 to Yacht Club Locarno.

5.4 Registration after July 22, 2010 will be accepted, when paying an additional fee of EURO 20 (CHF 30).

Check-in
At the latest when you check-in, you must provide to the regatta committee the following documents:
- Copy of passport or Identification card
- Original certificate of third party liability insurance

06 Race Programme

07 Venue
 The venue will be at CENTRO DANNEMANN, BRISSAGO, Switzerland (see also www.centrodannemann.com).
The race area will be the waters offshore of Brissago on the lake Maggiore.
 

08 Measurement
Measurement checks can be performed during the event on shore as on water.

09 Sailing instructions
The sailing instructions will be available at registration.

10 Courses
The courses will be part of the sailing instructions provided at registration.
The area of sailing will be as indicated below:

Rule 44.1 is changed so that the two-turns penalty is replaced by the one turn penalty.


12 Scoring
12.1 The low points system of RRS appendix A will apply.


13 Jury
The jury appointed to supervise the event: Daniele Panzeri, Head Jury, Switzerland.


14 Prices
An awards ceremony will take place as soon as possible on the last day of the event.

Awarded will be:                        The first three men crews
                                              The first three women crews
                                              Special price (as surprise)
                                              Memorable prize for all participants.

The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the regatta.

From 19-21 August, the Locarno Irish Festival will take place in the old town and in Piazza Grande.

20 Accommodation
Following some special arrangements:

Camping on the area of the Yacht Club Locarno is prohibited.

Highway A2 Exit: Bellinzona Sud – follow Locarno – go into the tunnel – follow Brissago / Italia – drive through Brissago. After 500 meters of the centre of Brissago on the left side you will find a sign “Centro Dannemann”. Drive down.

Brissago: Just after you crossed the border from Italy to Switzerland, and before reaching the centre of Brissago, on your right side (towards the lake) you will find the sign “Centro Dannemann”. Drive down.
